About me
As a real estate professional my complete focus is on the needs of my clients. I am a 20+ year resident of Somers. My 2 sons attend/ed Somers schools thus I have a strong understanding of Somers and the surrounding communities. My background in retail and wholesale sales has given me a strong attention to detail, have strong negotiating skills as well as the patience to complete the job. I strive for the utmost in customer service. This is more than a catch phrase to me. I pride myself in working diligently until goals are not only met but exceeded. I treat each client as a partner, one in which we strive for common goals. I truly love real estate. Whether buying or selling I look forward to many relationships yet to be created.

I love the outdoors in many ways. Hiking, snow skiing, gardening or sitting on the beach! I am an avid reader. I love to cook and entertain. I love Netflix and my family and friends.

Our family first met with Cathy in February of 2017 in the Somers Houlihan Lawrence office. We lived in Duchess County, NY and were thinking about moving down to the Northern Westchester area to be closer to our jobs and for the schools. Cathy's genuine personality and her vast knowledge of the area helped us to make the final decision to move to Katonah. She got to know our budget and needs and was able to show us homes that met all of our criteria. Cathy was very accessible and worked diligently to ensure that we were able to view as many homes as possible in the slow housing market. She also expertly helped us navigate several bumps in our home buying experience with integrity and she went above and beyond to help us find our perfect home. I so enjoyed working with Cathy Weissman. I feel as though we had a bit more than a "working relationship." She understood me completely, knew what I was looking for and took the time to help. If you're looking for a trusted person to help with your search for a home, Cathy is the one! She is much more than just a real estate agent. From the beginning of my search through sitting at the closing table, Cathy was more of a real estate partner, advocate and friend. Key in our real estate relationship was the "we". She made me feel like she was just as invested as I was. When there was a concern, it was "our" concern. When there was excitement, it was "we" who were excited! Never did I feel like she was just trying to make a sale. We were in it together throughout the entire process. When it came time to make an offer, she understood our situation and was definitely our advocate. We had a price in mind and that's what we paid. Cathy was terrific to work with. Despite all the COVID problems my condo sold. She definitely worked hard and went out of her way to solve and anticipate problems. She was always available.
